We really enjoyed the Papal Cross loop a few weeks ago so we decided to return to Europe’s biggest city park to try another loop. While we enjoyed the autumnal warm colours of the trees as we followed the path, the Áras loop (marked in red on the map) lacked the magic of the Papal Cross loop. There were no deers to admire on this loop and much of the walk is alongside roadways. The highlight of the walk is Áras an Uachtaráin, the impressive regal looking home to the President of Ireland.
